Protection for Kids Attending School Amid the Pandemic
On a regular day, parents worry about so many things when their kids start attending school or a childcare center. Are the children okay? Are they comfortable? Do they get the right protection from any harm in their surroundings? And so many thoughts when the kids are not around.
What more during the pandemic?
Face-to-face classes are limited to only two days a week during the pandemic. But we still have to safeguard our little ones by doing these simple measures:
- Teach them about proper hygiene.
Washing hands with soap and clean water and using alcohol-based sanitizers can protect your tots not only from COVID-19 but also from many types of germs and bacteria.
- Refrain from touching surfaces.
Some people may carry harmful particles that they may leave to chairs, tables, bar handles, and other surfaces in a preschool in New Jersey. Tell your children not to touch these, and if you cannot avoid them, spray some alcohol to disinfect.
- Follow physical distancing.
Stop holding hands and playing side by side as of the moment. Also, refrain your child from sharing toys and food.
Our daycare in Plainfield, New Jersey, has to adapt to a new setup. And we must prepare the children so they would face this situation more safely.
